My shop is right in the middle of the busy Astodia Rangati Kapad Bazar, at number 2140 in Habib'S Golwad. If you know this part of the city, you know how crowded and loud it gets with all the cloth traders and people moving around. I’ve spent most of my life here, surrounded by stacks of fabric and the constant noise of the market. It’s a small space, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Most mornings start with opening the shutters and sweeping out the dust from the street. Then it’s just a steady stream of people coming in to look at what we have. We don’t have a website or fancy brochures; we just talk to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the tea seller comes by and we take a quick break, but usually, it’s quite busy until the sun goes down. The walls are lined with different materials we’ve collected over time. It’s a bit of a maze in here, but I know exactly where everything is stored. This area has a lot of history, and you can feel it in the old buildings and the way people do business face-to-face. I’ve seen the market change over the years, but my spot stays pretty much the same. It's just a regular workplace where we try to keep things moving and stay on top of the daily tasks.
