Alpines Technoquip is located in Ahmed House, over in the Purabiawad area near Kotni Rang. We are pretty close to the Astodia Darwaja, which is a big old gate that everyone knows. Our building is a bit tucked away, so it can be a little tricky to find if you aren't looking for it. We work on technical equipment here. It's mostly a lot of metal parts and tools scattered across the workbenches. We aren't very organized in a corporate sense, but we know where everything is. The air in the workshop usually smells like grease and cold metal. It’s a family-run kind of place in spirit, even if we are a private limited company. We take our time with the machines because rushing usually leads to mistakes. Some days the power goes out and we just sit outside the Darwaja and wait for it to come back on. It’s a part of life in this old section of the city. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us with a wrench or a screwdriver. We like the history of this neighborhood. It’s got a lot of character, just like our shop. We’ve been here for years and haven't really thought about moving. The space is a bit cramped, but it has everything we need to get the repairs and assemblies done right.
