We are located in the J. D. Chambers building, in room 104. It is right there in the Hiren Cloth Market area, near the Cross Line. If you know where Revadi Bazar is, you are pretty much there already. It is a crowded area with a lot of foot traffic and small delivery carts squeezing through the lanes. Our space is filled almost to the ceiling with boxes of bearings. We have got shelves lining every single wall and even then, we have to stack things on the floor in piles. It can be a bit hard to navigate if you aren’t used to the layout. We spend most of the day pulling items for customers who come in or for orders going out to other shops. It is a lot of climbing up ladders and checking part numbers on the boxes. The building is older, so the stairs can be a bit steep for some. We don't have a lot of space for sitting around. Usually, there is a radio playing some local station in the background while we work. We know our inventory by heart, though the computer system we use is a bit slow and outdated. It doesn't matter much as long as we can find the right bearing for the person standing at the counter. Dealing with the market crowd is just part of the daily life for us here in the city.
