Ashtang Ayurvedic Panchakarma Hospital

If you head over to Bapu Nagar and find the India Colony Char Rasta, you’ll see the Dinesh Chamber building. We are up on the second floor there. Ashtang Ayurvedic Panchakarma Hospital isn't one of those big glass-walled hospitals you see in the newer parts of the city. It’s a more traditional setup. We have different rooms for the treatments, and there’s always that distinct smell of herbal oils and decoctions in the air. Some people find it strong, but we’ve grown to like it over the years. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit of a climb if you’re not used to it, but there is an elevator that works most of the time. We spend our hours preparing the oils and setting up the wooden tables for the massages. It’s quiet work, mostly. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy slogans. We just show up, open the doors, and get to work. The windows look out over the intersection, so you can see all the chaos of the traffic while it’s calm inside. It’s a bit of a contrast. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the walls have a few scuffs here and there, but it feels like home to us. Just a regular place where we do our Ayurvedic work every day for the local crowd. It doesn't need to be fancy as long as the work gets done.
