Gujarat Steel Pipes

Gujarat Steel Pipes is situated on the first floor of Mrudul Tower. We are right near H. K. House on Ashram Road. It is a very crowded part of the city. Usually, the traffic is moving slow outside our window. We have been in this spot for quite a bit. Steel pipes are what we deal with every single day. They are heavy and take up a lot of space in the mind and on the floor. The office is simple. We have a few desks and some old filing cabinets that don't always close right. You have to walk up to the first floor. It is good exercise, I guess. The tower itself has many other businesses, so it is always loud with people talking and phones ringing. We handle all sorts of pipe orders. Some are for big projects and some are just small bits. It does not matter to us. We just write it down and get it sorted. Ashram Road has changed a lot since we first came here. More buildings and fewer trees now. We usually get our tea from the guy on the corner. He knows how we like it. The work is mostly just logistics and making sure the steel gets to where it needs to go. It is not glamorous. Your hands get dirty and the ink on the receipts smudges. That is just how it is. We keep our heads down and keep working. It is a steady life.
