Astech Systems

Astech Systems is located right on Ashram Road, which is pretty much the heart of things here in Ahmedabad. We are in Mrudul Tower, situated behind the Times Of India building, so it’s easy to find if you know the landmark. Being near Hotel Vice President means there’s always something happening outside our windows. Inside, it’s mostly just us surrounded by hardware and wires. The office isn't particularly large, and we’ve definitely outgrown the storage closet, so there are boxes stacked in the hallway more often than not. We spend our days troubleshooting and trying to figure out why things aren't working the way they should. It can be frustrating when a system crashes, and we’ve had our fair share of late nights trying to get things back online. We don’t wear uniforms or have a corporate handbook. It’s more of a place where you can hear someone swearing at a motherboard or laughing over a joke while we eat lunch at our desks. The heat on Ashram Road can be intense, so our air conditioner is always working overtime, and it makes a loud humming sound that we’ve all learned to ignore. We are just a bunch of people who like fixing things and keeping the systems running for the folks around town who need us. It’s not glamorous work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We just focus on the task right in front of us.
