Adventure

We’ve been here at Atma House for a while now, right near the Times of India building. Most days it’s just us handling the paperwork and talking to folks who come in off Ashram Road. Adventure isn't a fancy place. It's mostly just desks and maps and us trying to figure out schedules. We spent years getting to know the routes and the gear that actually holds up when you’re out there. Sometimes the traffic outside the Old Reserve Bank is so loud we have to shout over the phone. People come in looking for a way to get out of the city for a bit. We don't have a big sales pitch or anything like that. We just tell them what we know from our own trips. It’s a lot of organizing and checking things twice so nobody gets stuck in the middle of nowhere without the right stuff. The office gets a bit dusty being so close to the main road, but we like being where the action is. Usually, it's just a couple of us here drinking tea and sorting out the next group's details. We’ve seen a lot of people come through these doors, some looking for a quiet weekend and others wanting something much more intense. We just try to keep things simple and honest. If a trip is going to be tough, we say so. It’s better that way for everyone involved in the end.
