Ashish Pathology Laboratory

Ashish Pathology Laboratory is located on the ground floor of Pir Mohamadshah Mansion. This is right at the Gheekanta Cross Road, which is a very busy spot on Relief Road in Ahmedabad. If you know this part of the city, you know how the traffic is. There’s always someone honking or a rickshaw trying to squeeze past. The mansion is an old building with a lot of character, and being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in from the street. We deal with a lot of people every morning who are coming in for their blood tests before they go to work. The lab isn't very large, so things can get a bit cramped when it's busy. We have our equipment set up and we spend most of our day looking at samples and writing down results. The smell of disinfectant is something we don’t even notice anymore. Sometimes the power fluctuates a bit, which is just part of being in an older building in this part of town. We don’t have fancy waiting rooms with leather couches. It’s just some plastic chairs and a desk where we take the names down. People come here because we’ve been around and they know where to find us on the cross road. It’s a straightforward job and we just try to get the reports done on time without any fuss. We usually close up once the evening traffic starts to peak and things get quieter.
