Armech Refrigeration Service Pvt Ltd is tucked away in the basement of B-1 Silver Oaks. It’s right across from the petrol pump near Mahalaxmi Cross Road in Paldi. Being in a basement means it stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside, which is lucky for us. The space is filled with tools, spare parts, and units that we are working on. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes, with copper pipes and toolboxes scattered around. We have a small desk near the entrance where we take calls and write down addresses for service visits. Most of our day is spent out on the road visiting customers, but there is always someone here at the shop to handle the walk-ins. The stairs down to the basement are a bit steep, so we have to be careful when we’re carrying heavy equipment. It’s a dusty job, and our uniforms usually have a few grease stains by the end of the week. We’ve been in Paldi for quite some time, and we know the neighborhood pretty well. The tea stall on the corner is where we usually go for a break. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and some charts for different fridge models. It’s a practical workspace for people who don't mind getting their hands dirty. We just focus on getting the machines running again and keeping the shop in some kind of order.
