Apollo Industries

Down at Plot No. 1117 in Phase 3, that’s where Apollo Industries is set up. It’s a fairly standard industrial plot, nothing too special to look at from the outside, just a big gate and a sturdy building. We spend most of our time inside the workshop area. It’s one of those places where you always know what time it is by the way the light hits the floor through the high windows. We make things here, and that involves a lot of noise and a fair bit of grease. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we all just sit outside the gate and wait for it to come back on, usually chatting with the guys from the next plot over. It’s a tight-knit community in Phase 3. We don’t have a marketing department or a fancy receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the phone picks it up. Our workspace is organized in a way that makes sense to us, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. There are tools everywhere and parts waiting to be assembled. We take pride in just getting the work done right without making a big deal out of it. It’s a lot of repetitive tasks, day in and day out, but there’s a rhythm to it that feels okay. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the orders we have. No one here is trying to be anything we're not.
