Ankur Shah

The office is situated near the Guru Gautam Shyamal Cross Road in the Satellite area. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always the sound of horns and engines in the background. My name is Ankur Shah, and this is where I do my work every day. It’s not a large operation with lots of employees. It’s just a practical space with a desk, a computer, and a lot of files that need attention. Satellite is a good area to be in because everything you need is close by. I spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to messages. The room is simple, with a window that looks out onto the street. I watch the seasons change by looking at the trees near the crossroad. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with papers, but I know where everything is. People come in for meetings and we sit around the small table in the corner. It’s a very personal way of doing things. I don't have a big marketing team or a polished image. I just focus on the work that needs to be done for the people who come to me. The day usually goes by quickly because there is always something to do. I close up in the evening and head home like everyone else in the neighborhood. It’s a straightforward, local life.
