Ankur Fabrics

We are located right in the middle of the RKTM Market at E-310-311. If you know the Ring Road area, you know how busy it gets around here every single day. Our shop is where we spend most of our time, surrounded by rolls of cloth and the constant sound of people walking by in the market. Ankur Fabrics has been in this same spot for a good while now. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular shop with plenty of work to do and not much room to spare. Most mornings start with us unlocking the metal shutters and dusting off the counters before the first people start trickling in. The RKTM Market is a bit of a maze if you aren’t used to it, but once you find the E block, we are right there. Sometimes it gets quite loud with the traffic outside on the Ring Road, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. We keep things simple here. There’s always stuff to move around or organize. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy bundles and making sure everything is where it should be on the shelves. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. Just the space we have in the market where we deal with our fabrics day in and day out. If you’re ever around the Rktm Market area, you’ll see us working away. It’s just how things go here, keeping busy and making sure the shop is ready.
