Ankesh Furniture

Ankesh Furniture is located near the Vasna Bus Stop. We are right opposite the Vijay Complex and not far from Mehta Chawana. Vasna is a busy place, and being near the bus stop means there are always people walking past our doors. It’s a good spot because everyone knows where the bus stop is. The shop itself is usually full of pieces of furniture, some finished and some just getting started. It can get a bit tight in there when we have a lot of stock, and you have to be careful where you step so you don’t trip over a chair leg or a piece of wood. We don’t have a fancy display window like the shops in the big malls. We just put some of our work out where people can see it. The noise from the buses and the traffic at the complex is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. We aren't big on marketing or using complicated words to describe what we do. We just make furniture. Sometimes the wood doesn't behave or a tool breaks, and we have to figure it out as we go. That’s just the nature of the job. People in Vasna know us as the place across from the complex. We just keep the doors open and keep working on whatever project is next on the list. It is a simple, hardworking life for us in this shop.
