Our place is over in Odhav, tucked away in Adarsh Estate II. If you know where Ashish Cinema is, we are right behind it, not far from the smashan gruh. It’s an industrial area, so it gets a bit dusty and busy with trucks. We handle surgical supplies from this unit at 14/E. It's a warehouse-style setup where we keep everything organized on shelves. We’ve been here for a good bit of time now. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we’re a local bunch. We don’t have a big front office or a receptionist. Usually, someone is just in the back checking stock or packing boxes for delivery. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't familiar with the estate, but we like it here. The work is straightforward, getting medical tools and equipment to the people who need them. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and hospitals. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we manage. It’s a practical business. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth in the medical trade keeps us going. Just a regular day for us involves checking expiry dates and making sure the stainless steel stuff is clean and ready. We keep the doors open and the fans running. It is a lot of lifting and moving boxes, but that is part of the job. We stay busy until the evening when the estate quietens down.
