Anisha Ayurvedic Clinic

We have been here at Vinod Park Society for a while now. Most people know the spot near Jashoda Nagar Cross Road. It’s a busy part of Jashodanagar but once you step into the clinic it gets a bit quieter. My desk is usually covered in papers and some small glass bottles. Sometimes the fan makes a little clicking noise but it keeps the air moving. We see a lot of local families coming in. Some have been coming since we first opened the doors. It’s not a fancy place with marble floors or anything like that. We just have some plastic chairs in the waiting area and a few cupboards for the herbs. I usually start the day by cleaning the shelves and checking the stock. The traffic outside can get loud around five o'clock when everyone is heading home from work. You can hear the rickshaws honking from the main road. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall nearby if it’s a slow afternoon. We try to keep things simple here. There is no big receptionist desk or computer system that takes forever to load. We just write things down in the registers. It’s just us doing what we know. The neighbors often stop by just to say hello while they are out for their morning walk. It feels like a part of the community here in this corner of Ahmedabad. We don't change much because the way things are seems to work for the people who visit us.
