Angip Leather (I) Ltd.

Our workshop is located at I-4116 in Phase-Iv of the G.I.D.C. estate in Vatva. If you’ve been to this part of Ahmedabad, you know it’s full of factories and the smell of industry. Angip Leather (I) Ltd. is right in the thick of it. We spend our days dealing with hides, tanning, and all the heavy work that comes with leather production. It’s not a clean job; your hands get stained and the work is physically demanding. We’ve got a solid group of workers who don’t mind getting their hands dirty every day. The building itself is quite old and has seen better days, but it holds our machinery and keeps the rain off the stock. We don’t have any fancy showrooms here. If you want to see what we do, you have to walk through the production area where everything is happening. It’s loud and it can get quite hot, especially in the afternoons. We focus on getting the orders out on time, even when things break down or the materials aren't arriving as fast as we’d like. We don’t have a big team of sales people. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. It’s a tough business, but we’ve been doing it a long time. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. That's life in Vatva for us, year after year.
