Anex Digital Scales

You’ll find us at the Marva Complex, which is right across from the petrol pump in the Narayan Mill Compound. We are at unit number 10. The C.T.M. area is pretty industrial, so there are always trucks and workers around. Our shop is where we handle all our digital scales. It’s a simple setup. We have a counter in the front and the workspace in the back. There’s usually some dust coming in from the road, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. We deal with all sorts of digital weighing machines. People bring them in when the numbers start jumping around or the screens go blank. We’ve seen every kind of problem you can imagine with these things. We don't have a big marketing team. We just rely on people telling their friends about us. It’s a lot of sitting at the bench with a soldering iron. Sometimes the smell of the petrol pump across the street drifts in. We’re used to it. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to make sure the scales that leave here are working right. It’s a basic business. We open up, we do the work, and we go home. That’s about it for us. The tea guy comes by at eleven and four, and that’s usually when we take a break. We’ve been here for years and hope to stay.
