Anand Polymers

Our place is out at Plot No. 10, 13, and 14 on National Highway 8A. Being in Changodar means we are surrounded by a lot of other industrial spots. We are quite close to Sakar Health Care, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us on the Sarkhej Bavla Road. Working with polymers means we deal with a lot of raw materials and shipping. The trucks come and go all day long because of the highway access. It gets pretty dusty out here, especially during the dry months. We have a fair amount of space across those three plots, so there is always room for the materials to sit before they get moved. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the batches and making sure the loaders know what they are doing. It is not a quiet job. The noise of the road is always in the background. We have a small office area where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just wait it out or use the generator. People in the area know us as the polymer guys. We take our tea breaks together under the shade when it’s too hot. It is a straightforward business. We don't have any big corporate meetings, just quick chats to get the day's work sorted. We try to finish up before the evening traffic on the highway gets too bad. It’s just how things go here in this part of town.
