Navdip Industries

Navdip Industries is right here in Vivek Nagar Society. We are pretty close to the Ranchhodji Temple in Amraiwadi. You can usually hear the temple bells from our place when things quiet down a bit in the evenings. We started small and we’re still basically a local operation. The neighborhood knows us well. Sometimes the kids from the society play outside while we are trying to get the orders ready. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with the trucks coming in and out of the society gates, but we make it work. Amraiwadi is a busy area but we like the location. We do a lot of industrial work, mostly making parts and stuff people need for their businesses. Our shop floor isn't very big. Every morning starts with some tea and a quick look at what needs to be finished before the sun goes down. We don’t have a big office or anything fancy like that. It’s mostly just us and the machines. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer months, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. It’s honest work and we’ve been doing it for a long time now. Most of the people working here live nearby in the society or the next street over. We don’t really care about being the biggest around, just about making sure the stuff we make is alright. It’s just a normal day for us, working near the temple.
