Amin Electricals

We’ve been here at Meena Chambers for a good while now. Our shop is right across from the Shyam Kabadi Market in Danilimda, so it’s always busy around here with trucks and people moving old scrap. It’s a dusty part of town but we like it. I started Amin Electricals because I knew how to fix things and realized people always need a spare bulb or some wire in a hurry. We don’t have fancy shelves or anything, just boxes stacked up. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when a big delivery comes in, but we manage. My nephew helps me out in the afternoons. Most days we are just drinking tea and waiting for someone to drop by with a burnt-out fan or a broken switch. We know almost everyone on this block by name. It’s not a corporate office, just a small place where we keep the parts people need for their homes. If the light goes out, you just walk over and we find the right fuse for you. Sometimes we don’t have exactly what you want on the shelf, so we have to order it from the main market, which takes a day. That’s just how it goes. People trust us because we’ve been at 349 for years and we don’t try to overcomplicate things. It is just basic work, done by hand, and keeping the lights on in Danilimda. We hope to stay here for many more years.
