Our place is at 63 Anar Estate, right behind the fruit market on Naroda Road. If you know the area, you know it gets really crowded with all the trucks coming and going for the produce, but we are tucked away in the back. Being near the market means there is always noise and movement, which we are used to by now. We do casting work here. It is heavy, dirty work most of the time, and the floor is usually covered in sand or metal scraps. We have a small crew of guys who have been doing this for years, so they know the machines better than anyone. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny showroom. What you see is a working foundry where things actually get made. Sometimes the heat from the furnace makes the whole shop feel like an oven, but nobody complains much. We just get on with the day’s tasks. Most of our regulars are local businesses who need specific parts made without a lot of fuss. We take the orders, do the pours, and get the items ready for pickup. It is a straightforward way to make a living, and we like it that way. The traffic on Naroda Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to finish up before the rush hits. It’s not a job for everyone, but it’s what we do.
