Pragati Medical(ellisbridge)

Pragati Medical is located over in Ellisbridge, specifically on the 120 Feet Ring Road near Nehru Nagar. If you know that area, you know how much traffic there is at all hours of the day. Our shop is right in the middle of it. We sell all kinds of medicines and health supplies. It’s a busy place because of the location. We spend a lot of our time unpacking boxes and making sure the bottles and strips are in the right place on the shelves. It’s not a fancy pharmacy with shiny floors; it’s a working shop. We have the usual glass counters and rows of wooden shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. People come in with their prescriptions, sometimes looking a bit tired from the hospital, and we look for what they need. We don't have a big corporate office or anything. It’s just the staff here behind the counter. We talk to the customers about the weather or the traffic while we get their change ready. Sometimes we have to call around to find a specific medicine if we are out of stock. It’s just how it goes. The Ring Road is always noisy, but you get used to it after a while. We stay open pretty late to make sure people can get what they need after their work shifts are over. It's a lot of standing on your feet all day, but we are used to that.
