Amar Cards

You can find us at Sapna Shopping Centre, which is near the ONGC building in Chandkheda. Amar Cards has been here for a while now. The shopping center is a local landmark, so most people don't have trouble finding us. Our shop always has that faint smell of paper and printer ink. There are samples of cards everywhere you look, tucked into the edges of mirrors and stacked on the tables. It can look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is kept. We spend a lot of time talking to people about colors and different types of cardstock. It is mostly just us and the machines hum in the background while we work. The lighting is not the best in the back of the shop, so we do most of our detail work near the front window where we get some sun. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, and we just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back on. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or just see the sign when they are walking to the grocery store. It is a simple business, and we like the routine of it. We just show up, do the printing, and help whoever walks through the door.
