Alok Alang Furniture

We are located down in the basement, Ll-9 of Gokul Complex. It’s right near A One School at Subhash Chowk on Gurukul Road. Being on the lower level means it stays a bit cooler, which is nice in the summer. We deal in furniture, specifically the kind of stuff you get from Alang. It’s heavy, sturdy wood and metal that has a bit of history to it. People like it because it lasts much longer than the new stuff you buy in big malls. We have tables, chairs, and maybe some old cabinets tucked away in the corners. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes because the pieces are quite large. You have to walk around carefully so you don't bump into a wardrobe. We aren't decorators, we just sell the items as they are. If you need something for your house that won't break after a year, that’s usually why people come find us. The school nearby means there are always parents and kids around during the day. We’ve been in this complex for some time now. It’s not a polished showroom with bright lights and music. It’s just a basement full of solid furniture. We spend our time dusting the wood and moving things around so people can see what we have. It’s honest work and we like meeting the locals who live around Gurukul.
