Prem Darwaja is such a hectic spot in Ahmedabad 380002. Akshay Heart & Medical Hospital & Dental is located right in the thick of it. Since it is both a medical hospital and a dental clinic, there is always a lot of movement. You see people coming in for all sorts of health reasons, not just teeth. The waiting area can get pretty full, and it is usually a mix of smells, like disinfectant and whatever someone brought for lunch. Our dental section is just one part of the whole building. It is a practical setup with the equipment we need to get the job done. It is not the kind of place with soft music and scented candles. It is more about getting people in and helping them out so they can get back to their day. The staff here are usually quite busy, moving from one room to another. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it is strangely quiet for ten minutes. We have been here at Prem Darwaja for a good amount of time, so we are a familiar sight to the local vendors outside. It is a lot of work managing both heart and dental patients, but it is just how the place is run. We do not make a big deal out of it. We just show up, do the work, and hope the traffic isn't too bad when it is time to go home.
