Ajit Mathews

Vastrapur is a busy area, especially around Nalanda Complex. We are right across from it, in the Samaan building at 314. It’s a good location for Ajit Mathews because everything is close by. The office isn't huge, but it fits us just fine. We have some good views of the road, and you can see people heading to the market all day long. Most of the time, it's just quiet work going on here. We handle things as they come and don't try to overcomplicate our day. It’s more about being steady and getting through the pile of work on the desk. We’ve been in this part of Ahmedabad for quite a while, so we’ve seen the roads change and new buildings go up. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and some computers. We don't have any fancy decorations or anything. It's a place where we come to get things done. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs, which keeps us moving. We know the neighbors in the other offices, and it’s a friendly enough atmosphere. It’s just a practical space for a practical kind of work. We don't really do much talking about ourselves, we just like to keep our heads down and stay busy with the projects we have. It’s a simple setup and it works for us. We usually keep some snacks in the drawer for when the afternoon hunger hits.
