Ajit Engineering & Fabricators

You can find us over at I-8, Phase-Ii, in the Gidc area of Vatva. We are quite close to the Vinzol Railway Crossing, so you can often hear the trains passing by while we work. It’s a big industrial zone and things get pretty hot during the day, especially with the welding going on. Ajit Engineering is really just a place where we cut, bend, and join metal. We’ve got a lot of scrap metal lying around the edges of the yard. It’s not the cleanest place, but it’s a fabrication shop, so that’s expected. We don’t spend money on fancy brochures or a website that looks like it belongs to a bank. Most of our work comes from people who just know we can handle the job. The guys here have tough hands and don’t mind the hard labor. Sometimes the dust from the nearby units blows in, but we just keep going. We open up pretty early to get a head start before the sun is too high. Lunch is usually eaten together in the small shade we have. We’ve been in Vatva for a long time and have seen many other shops come and go. We just keep our heads down and worry about the fabrication work that needs doing today. It’s a basic life, but we like seeing a finished piece of metalwork leave the shop. There is always a stray dog or two hanging around the entrance waiting for scraps. We just call them the shop dogs.
