You can find Panchal Machinery over at Ajay Industrial Estate on Dudheshwar Road. We’ve been at unit number 13 for quite some time now. Ahmedabad is a busy place for industry, and this road is always packed with trucks and rickshaws. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Inside, it's full of heavy equipment and the smell of grease. That’s just how a machinery place should be, I guess. We spend most of our time fixing things or putting parts together. It’s dusty and loud most of the day. We don’t have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just wipes their hands on a rag and goes to see who it is. We’ve been in Gujarat long enough to know how things work around here. Sometimes the weather gets incredibly hot, and we have to slow down, but we usually push through. We don’t have a fancy website or a brochure. People just know where we are in the 380 004 area. If you need something sorted with machines, we usually have a tool that can do it. It’s not a corporate office environment. There are metal scraps in the corners and old manuals on the shelves. We just work hard and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a living. We’ve been on this road so long the potholes feel like old friends.
