We spend most of our time here at 501 Kala Siddhi, which is tucked away near Sharnam-5 behind Jodhpur Village. Satellite is a busy part of Ahmedabad, so the traffic outside is always something we deal with when we arrive in the morning. Adani Logistics Ltd. isn't some fancy glass tower place; it’s a working office where we keep track of trucks and shipments across the country. My desk has a view of the street, and I see the local chai wallah every afternoon around four. Most days are spent on the phone or looking at spreadsheets to make sure things move from point A to point B without too much trouble. It gets dusty in the summer, but that is just how it is here. We have a few computers that have seen better days, and the printer likes to jam when we are in a hurry. Someone usually brings in snacks to share during the mid-day break. It's not glamorous work, but it fills the day. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and the neighbors know us. Moving goods around involves a lot of paperwork and waiting for people to call back. Sometimes the internet goes slow, and we just have to sit and wait it out while chatting about the cricket scores or what’s for dinner. It's just a normal group of people working together in this corner of Ahmedabad.
