Being located in a flatted building in the MIDC area has its own set of quirks. We are at A-15, and honestly, sometimes the lift works and sometimes it doesn't, so we end up using the stairs a lot more than we’d like. It’s an industrial vibe through and through. You can hear the sounds of other businesses through the walls, and there’s always someone moving crates in the hallway. Our space isn't huge, but we make the most of every square inch for our setups. A.B.Panchal & Co. is basically a place where we get our hands dirty every single day. We don’t spend time writing fancy reports or sitting in long meetings. Instead, we are looking at blueprints or checking the alignment of a piece of equipment. The lighting could be better, and the tea we get from the stall downstairs is usually too sweet, but it keeps us going. Most of our day is spent making sure the orders are moving along. We’ve had some of the same guys working here for years, and we all know how the machines sound when they’re running right. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is honest work. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just open up, do the job, and head home when the sun goes down. There is always a lot to do and the days usually go by pretty fast.
