Aastha Clinic

We are over in Shop Number 7 at Ashok Plaza, which is situated near the Hamor Parlor. If you are familiar with the area near the Engineering College cross road in Motera, Ahmedabad, you’ll know exactly where we are. It’s a good spot because there are always people moving about, going to the shops or heading toward the college. Our clinic is fairly basic. We have a front counter, a few chairs for waiting, and the area where we see people. Ahmedabad can get incredibly hot, so we spend a lot of time making sure the place stays as cool as possible for whoever is coming in. We don't have a big staff, so when you walk in, you’ll usually see the same one or two faces every time. It’s a bit more personal that way. We get a mix of students from the college and families who live in the Motera neighborhood. Sometimes we have to stay a bit later than planned if someone comes in right at closing time, but that’s just part of being a local business. We don’t use any complicated systems; we mostly just write things down and talk to people about what’s bothering them. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We’re just here in Ashok Plaza, doing our daily routine and taking care of the folks who live and work around this part of the city. We enjoy the familiar rhythm of the plaza and the regulars who stop by.
