You can find A. V. Cam Corporation over at 55-C in the Tribhuvan Indl. Estate. We are right opposite the Pashupatinath Temple, which is a good landmark because people often get lost looking for these industrial plots. Being near Kathwda G.I.D.C. means there is always a lot of manufacturing going on around us. We focus on cams and related parts. Our workshop isn't very large, but we have the right tools for what we do. It’s a bit noisy with the lathes and grinding machines going, but that’s the sound of work. We usually have a layer of metal dust on the floor by the end of the day. The guys here have been doing this for a long time. They don't need a manual for most of the jobs anymore. They just know how the metal should feel. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny office. We have a small desk where the invoices get written and a lot of shelves for the finished parts. Kathwada is a busy industrial hub, and we are just one part of it. When the temple across the road has a festival, it gets even busier with people and bells, which is a nice change from the machine sounds. We just try to get the dimensions right and ship the orders out. A. V. Cam Corporation is a small, honest shop. We do the work, have our tea, and go home.
