A S Accounting & Taxation Services is located in room 129 of the Sarvoday Complex. If you know Ahmedabad, you know that Relief Road is one of the most crowded and hectic streets in the whole city. Our building is near the GPO and sits right opposite the Ellora Complex. It is a very old-school business area. The office itself is tucked away on one of the floors, and it feels a bit like stepping back in time compared to the glass buildings in other parts of town. We have old wooden desks and shelves filled with tax books and folders. The noise from the street is always there, a mix of buses and rickshaws, but we don't really notice it anymore. Finding a place to park a car on Relief Road is almost impossible, so most of us come by two-wheeler or just walk from the bus stop. There are so many small shops around selling everything from electronics to clothes. We usually have some tea delivered to the office in the morning from a guy who has been doing it for years. It’s a very straightforward place to work. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that; you just walk in and we are there at our desks. It’s a regular job and we stay busy throughout the year, especially when the tax deadlines are approaching. The Sarvoday Complex has its quirks, like the dim lighting in the corridors, but it’s home for us.
