A- One Pet Industries

Down at A- One Pet Industries, things stay pretty busy from morning until night. We are out at Plot No. 15 in the Dholeshwar Industrial Estate. If you are driving toward us, you just look for the Airtel tower because we are right near it, just opposite Changodar Ta. Sanand. The machines here make a steady humming sound that you stop noticing after the first hour of being on the floor. It is an industrial area, so there are a lot of trucks moving in and out, kicking up dust on the road. We spend a lot of our time checking on the equipment and making sure the plastic is being handled right. It gets quite warm on the factory floor, so we keep the fans going as much as we can to stay cool. We aren't big on formalities here. Most of the staff just wear comfortable clothes and get to work. We have a small break area where we sit and talk about whatever was on the news or how the local cricket team is doing. It is a straightforward kind of place. We do not have a big front desk or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, you just walk in and find whoever is available to talk. We handle the materials, pack the bags, and get them ready for the transporters. It is hard work, and by the end of the shift, everyone is ready to head home. We have been in Sanand for a while and have seen the estate grow.
