A J Alang Scrap Furniture

Our yard is located right across from Gate Number 3 of the A P M C Market. We are also opposite the old Vasna Octroi Naka on the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway. This is a very industrial and busy part of the road. We deal in scrap furniture, a lot of which comes from the ships at Alang. Because of the nature of our work, the place is always a bit of a mess. We have piles of wooden desks, metal chairs, and old cabinets spread out across the area. It is a dusty and hot environment, especially with all the sun hitting the metal parts. We spend our days loading and unloading trucks that come off the highway. It is physically demanding work, and we are usually covered in dust by the end of the shift. We don't have a fancy showroom with polished floors. Everything we have is sold as it is. People come to us when they are looking for something cheap or sturdy that they can fix up themselves. The noise from the highway is something you never really get used to, but it is part of being in this location. We have been here for years, and we know the scrap business inside and out. It is not a glamorous life, but it is what we know how to do. We just keep moving the furniture and helping the customers who stop by their trucks. It’s hard work, but it’s ours.
