It’s right behind the Alana Weigh Bridge, so that’s usually the best landmark to use if you’re getting lost. Being near Aarvee Denim helps people find us too. The area is quite industrial and there are always trucks moving around because of the weigh bridge. Our workshop isn't very large, but it fits everything we need. We spend most of our time fixing things or putting parts together. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have a few fans going to keep the air moving. It’s a noisy neighborhood, but you get used to it after a week or two. We started this because we knew how these machines worked and just kept at it. There’s no big corporate office here, just us in the estate. Most of the guys here have grease on their hands by noon. We don't really have a receptionist or anything fancy. If the door is open, someone is inside working on something. We try to stay organized, even if there’s a lot of metal and parts lying around. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the neighbors are alright. Usually, we grab a quick lunch together at the corner stall before getting back to the machines.
