Ornet Transformers L.L.P.

Our workshop is located in Medha Village, which is out in the Kadi Taluka of Mehsana district. It is a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like being out here where there is more space. We work on transformers, and because they are so big, we need all the room we can get. The air is a bit clearer here than in the city, but it still gets quite hot in the afternoons. We have local people from the village working with us. Most of the day is spent winding copper and making sure the cores are set right. It is heavy work and we use cranes to move things around the floor. The workshop is not a quiet place, there is always the sound of metal and tools. We don't have any fancy office staff, just a couple of us who handle the books when we aren't out on the floor. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time with the narrow village roads, but we always figure it out. We have been in Mehsana for a long time and we know how things work around here. It is just a steady business of making sure these transformers are built sturdy and ready to go. We don't need any big advertisements, the work we do in the village speaks for itself.
