Our shop is number 130 on the ground floor of the Intercity Township in Surat. ZEEPOL LUBRICANT PRIVATE LIMITED is what it says on the sign outside. We are right on the Puna Kumbhariyagam Road, so there is a constant stream of bikes and cars passing by our door. Since we deal with lubricants, there is usually a faint smell of oil around the place, and we have to be careful not to get grease on the paperwork. It’s a practical little shop where we keep various grades of oil and lubricants for different types of machinery. The township is a big place, so we see a lot of the same faces every day. We aren't trying to pretend we are some massive international corporation. We are just local guys who know about oil and how it helps engines run better. Most of the time, we are just talking to mechanics or drivers who stop by to pick up what they need. Sometimes the shop gets a bit messy with empty crates, but we try to tidy up before we close for the night. There’s no fancy marketing talk here. If you need oil, we show you what we have and tell you the price. That’s about it. We like the pace of life here in Surat and the way business is done with a simple conversation and a handshake.
