VMS WEAVING PRIVATE LIMITED

We are located in Sumel Business Park, right behind the New Cloth Market near Raipur Darwaja. Our space covers several units from 1 to 8 on the first floor. It is a busy area because of the cloth market nearby, so there is always a lot of traffic and movement. We do weaving work here. The looms take up a lot of space and they can be quite loud when they are all running at once. We started this because we knew the textile trade in Ahmedabad was the place to be. It’s not a quiet office job. We are usually covered in a bit of lint and talking over the sound of the machinery. The Raipur Darwaja area has a lot of history with fabric, and we feel like we are just doing our part in that long story. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to keep the machines running and the fabric coming off the rolls correctly. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing it. That’s just how it is. We drink our tea, talk about the day’s work, and make sure the orders are ready for the trucks. It is honest work and we are glad to be doing it in such a lively part of the city.
