Our office is over in Ambawadi, specifically near Swati Apartment. We share some space at Iol House on Vidya Ville Lane, right opposite the Central Bank. Ahmedabad is a place we know well, and Ambawadi is a nice, established part of it. We’ve been operating as a limited liability partnership for a while. It sounds a lot more formal than it actually is when you walk inside the door. Most of the time, the place is full of rolled-up papers and the smell of tea. We spend our days coordinating between different sites and making sure people are where they need to be. It’s a lot of logistical work that most people don’t really see. We aren't a massive firm with hundreds of employees. We are a small group of people who know how to put things together. Sometimes we have disagreements about how a project should go, but we always figure it out in the end. The traffic on the way to the office can be a nightmare during rush hour, so we try to get in early to avoid the worst of it. We’ve seen the city change a lot over the years, with new apartments going up where there used to be empty lots. We just try to stay steady and keep our heads down. We don’t do much advertising. We just focus on the work we have in front of us and hope for the best. It’s a simple way to run things, but it works for us.
