Our office sits over at 15, Professor Colony, which is right by Vijay Cross Road in Navrangpura. It’s an older part of Ahmedabad, so the streets have that lived-in feel to them. We like being in this area because everything is close by. It’s a busy spot with all the students and offices around, so there’s a lot of energy. Our space is pretty basic—just some desks, chairs, and a lot of paper. We do most of our building coordination from here. Navrangpura is a good place to be based because we can get to different parts of the city without too much trouble, though the parking near Vijay Cross Road can be a nightmare sometimes. We’ve had this spot for a while now. The building is nothing special, but it works for what we need. Most of the day is spent talking to contractors or trying to find where we put a specific set of keys. We don’t go in for big advertisements. Usually, people just know us from being around for years. We handle the daily grind of construction work, which means a lot of phone calls and checking on the weather. It’s a local operation, and we like it that way. No big corporate vibes here, just people trying to get some building work finished so we can move on to the next one. We keep a stash of tea biscuits for the afternoons when things get a bit slow.
