We are based at 3, Dhanlaxmi Market in the Nehrunagar area of Ahmedabad. Vipuldudhiya Sweets (Ambica) Private has been a part of this market for quite some time. If you have ever walked through Nehrunagar, you know it is a very lively and crowded spot. Our shop is usually busy, especially during the festival seasons when everyone is looking for something sweet to take home. It is not a large place. We have our display counters and the kitchen area in the back where things are actually made. The smell of sugar and fresh milk is always in the air. We are not a big chain with hundreds of branches all over the country. We just have this one spot here. The floor is a bit worn down from all the people coming in and out over the years. We have a team of guys who have been with us for a long time. They know how to make everything just right without needing any instructions. We do not do fancy packaging or big television ads. We just put the sweets in simple boxes and hand them over the counter. It is a very traditional way of doing business. Sometimes the market gets very crowded and it is hard to find parking nearby, but people still make the trip. We just try to keep the trays full and the sweets fresh. It is how we have always done it.
