Vgv Star Diamond Private Limited is located in the Mahidarpura area of Surat. Specifically, we are at Office No. 208, which covers Sy.1105-1107. Our place is in Tulsi Somnath Mahadev ni Sheri. For those who aren't from around here, a 'sheri' is like a narrow lane or street. Mahidarpura is famous for its diamond markets, and our lane is right in the thick of it. It’s a very old part of the city, so the streets are tight and always filled with people on foot or on scooters. You really have to know where you are going to find us. The building we are in is tucked away, but it has a lot of history. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of distance from the noise of the street, but you can still feel the energy of the market downstairs. We spend our days dealing with diamonds, which is what most people in this neighborhood do. We don't have a big sign or a showroom. It’s an office where the real work happens. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a minute and we just sit and wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We’ve been operating out of Haripura for a while now and we know all the local tea sellers and the other diamond folks nearby. It’s a busy, cramped, and lively place to work.
