Over here at Vaishudev Tex Industries Private Limited, we operate out of house number 35 in Siddharth Society. This is in Dehgam, which is part of the Gandhinagar area. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the big city centers, but we like it that way because it lets us focus on our textile work. We have been in this society for a bit now, and most of the people around here know what we do. Our setup is pretty straightforward without any of that modern office fluff you see elsewhere. There are always rolls of fabric or samples lying around the place because that is just the nature of the textile business. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment needs to be checked, and other times it is just a slow afternoon of catching up on emails. The weather in Dehgam can be quite dry, so we spend a lot of time making sure everything is stored properly so the dust doesn't get into the fibers. It is a family-style environment where we all know each other's coffee orders. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It is just us, some machines, and a lot of thread. We’ve found that being in a residential society keeps us grounded and connected to the local community in a way that a big factory wouldn't.
