Umapati Buildcon is tucked away in Arjun Tower, in unit A-1/53. We are located right near the Bhuyandev Charrasta in Ghatlodia, which is one of the busiest spots in Ahmedabad. If you know the area, we are just behind C P Nagar-2. The traffic around the Charrasta can be a bit of a nightmare during peak hours, but it’s a great location for us because it’s so central. We’ve been working out of this 380061 office for a good number of years now. It’s not a fancy corporate suite. It’s just a room with some filing cabinets, a few computers, and a lot of rolled-up drawings. Most of the time, we’re out on various building sites, so the office is mostly for the morning meetings and the evening paperwork. We handle all sorts of construction tasks, from basic housing stuff to more complex infrastructure. We’re a small team, and we like it that way. It keeps things simple. We don’t have a big mission statement or a marketing department. Word of mouth has always been enough to keep us busy. People in Ghatlodia know us, and we know them. We just try to be practical about every project and handle the problems as they come up. It’s a lot of work, and it can be stressful sometimes, but seeing a building go up is a good feeling at the end of the day.
