If you ever find yourself on R.C. Technical Road, you might see our office over at Shayona City in the K/2 block. It is a busy part of Ghatlodia, so there is always traffic and people moving around outside. We’ve been running Tyson Buildcon from here for some time. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company in Ahmedabad, just a reliable group that shows up and does the job right. Some mornings start really early with us checking the inventory of cement and steel bars. It can be a bit loud in the office when everyone is talking at once or the phones start ringing about a delivery delay. We deal with all kinds of building tasks, from small stuff to bigger structures. It’s mostly about managing the site workers and making sure the supplies arrive when they should. We drink a lot of chai and spend a lot of time looking at blueprints on messy tables. Sometimes things don’t go exactly as planned, like when the weather turns bad or a machine breaks down, but we just figure it out. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like seeing a project go from a hole in the ground to a finished building. We just keep our heads down and work. There are no fancy speeches here, just people who know how to build things using their hands and some common sense.
