Working out of Bileshwar Industrial Estate in Odhav means getting used to the noise of the Sardar Patel Ring Road and the heavy trucks passing by all day. Our place at Technocraft Texmach is right at Plot Thirty-Four, across from the GVMM area. It is a real industrial environment here. There is always the smell of machine oil and the sound of metal being worked on somewhere nearby. We handle a lot of the machinery side of the textile business, which is a bit messy and hands-on. Most of our days are spent checking on parts, talking to technicians, and making sure the equipment is ready to go out. The estate can get quite dusty, and during the monsoon, the roads around here are a bit of a challenge, but that is just how it is in this part of Ahmedabad. We don’t have a big front office with carpets; we have a functional space where we can look at drawings and talk to the guys on the floor. It’s a busy life, and there isn't much time for anything other than the tasks right in front of us. We have been in this spot for a while, and we know our neighbors well. It’s a community of people who work with their hands and understand how machines should run. We just keep our heads down and try to keep the machinery moving for everyone who relies on us.
