TASVITA INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED

Tasvita International Private Limited is run out of A/301 in the Siddhi Vinayak Residency. It’s on the Hazira-Adajan Road in the Bhatha area of Surat. Working out of a residency building means things are a little more informal than a big glass office tower. We know the security guards and the people living in the other apartments. Our office is basically a converted flat where we’ve set up computers and a few desks. It gets pretty cramped when we have a lot of samples arriving or when we’re trying to organize a big shipment. The commute along the Hazira road can be a bit of a nightmare with all the trucks, so we usually start our day a bit later to avoid the worst of it. We spend most of our time on the phone or emailing people about international orders. There’s always a pile of courier bags near the door waiting to be picked up. We don't have any polished marketing materials or a team of sales people. It’s just a few of us trying to make sense of the international market from our little corner of Surat. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing in the hallway, which adds to the domestic feel of the place. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure our paperwork is in order so nothing gets stuck at customs.
