We are based in Doctor House, which is right across from the Rajnagar Club in the Ellisbridge area. Our unit is B/108 on the first floor. This part of Ahmedabad is full of medical offices but we have been in Parimal Society for quite a while. It’s an old building but it serves our purpose well. We have patients coming in throughout the day for various treatments. Being in Ellisbridge means we are quite central, so people can get to us easily by bus or rickshaw. The hospital isn't huge. It’s a compact setup where every room has a use. We have our regulars who have been coming to the doctors here for years. The atmosphere is usually quiet, except when the waiting room fills up around noon. We handle the billing and the patient files from a small desk near the entrance. It is a lot of routine work. Making sure the supplies are stocked and the doctors have what they need for their rounds. We don't do anything too fancy. It is just a local hospital doing its part for the community. Sometimes the parking outside is a nightmare but that’s just Ahmedabad for you. We just keep going and try to stay organized. The building has a lot of character even if it is a bit cramped at times. We make it work.
