Our yard is located at Plot No. 37 in Swaminarayan Nagar, specifically within the Meghpar Borichi village area. It’s part of the Anjar taluka here in Kachchh. Sri Ji Pine Wood Private Limited is the name on the gate, but most people just know us as the place with the stacks of wood. We deal with pine and timber, so there is always a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around. The plot is quite large because we need the space for storage and handling the logs. It’s a dusty environment and the Kachchh sun can be pretty intense during the day. We don’t have a fancy office building, just a small structure on the plot where we keep our files and take a break. Most of the work happens outside under the sheds. We’ve been here in Meghpar Borichi for quite some time and have gotten to know the other business owners nearby. It’s a hardworking part of the region, and we fit right in with the practical, no-nonsense way things get done here. We aren’t big on fancy marketing or sales pitches. We just have the wood ready and help people load it up when they come by. It’s a simple, honest business and we take it day by day, making sure our inventory is what it needs to be. We are usually here early in the morning to get a head start on the day.
